In the wellness category, Android users in the UK have shown their preferences through app downloads and engagement. Based on the data provided by Sensor Tower, we can delve into the performance of the leading wellness apps in the first quarter of 2024.

ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker, despite a fluctuating download trend that peaked at 28K and dropped to 7.9K, maintained a steady increase in weekly active users, reaching a high of 52K before stabilizing around 36K. Revenue for the app showed an upward trend in January, hitting 24K, but then experienced a gradual decline to 12K by the end of March.

Calm - Sleep, Meditate, Relax demonstrated a significant revenue performance, starting the quarter with 28K and reaching a peak of 41K in the second week of January. Downloads for Calm had a downward slope, from 13K to 4.3K, while weekly active users saw a slight dip from 82K to 71K.

Another app from ENERJOY PTE. LTD., Me+ Daily Routine Planner, started strong with 25K downloads in the first week of January but saw a decline to 1.5K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users showed a decrease from 42K to 16K, and revenue also exhibited a downward trend, from 21K to 1.6K.

Breeze: mental health had a varied quarter with downloads peaking at 9K in mid-February before falling to 1.7K. Revenue remained relatively stable, starting at 4.2K and ending the quarter at 4.4K. Weekly active users peaked at 31K in February, followed by a decrease to 19K.

Lastly, Headspace: Meditation & Sleep showed consistent revenue figures, with a slight peak at 34K in mid-January and settling at 25K by the end of March. Downloads saw a mid-quarter peak at 6.8K but ended at 4.2K, whereas weekly active users started at 117K and declined to 84K.
